Product Advantages
Wire Shape Advantage
The straightness of Star titanium wire can reach 2mm/M, which ensures that the molten welding end, plasma arc and electric arc converge at one point during the wire feeding process, minimizing the fluctuation of the molten pool.
Standard wire straightness: 5mm/M (995)
Star titanium wire straightness: up to 2mm/M (998)
Wire Cleanliness
Since Star titanium adopts roller die bright drawing, there will be no contaminants such as graphite emulsion lubricant during the wire forming process. The wire meets the requirement that the comparison with Kodak Gray Scale Indication is not greater than Grade 3.
Chemical Composition Control
Roller die bright cold drawing is adopted to avoid problems such as hydrogen absorption and oxygen increase caused by traditional hot drawing. There is no increase in the content of O (oxygen), N (nitrogen) and H (hydrogen) during the wire drawing process.
Large Coil Weight Without Welding Joints
With roller die drawing, the wire raw materials are all large-coil products. The weight of a single coil can reach more than 100kg, and there are no wire splicing welding joints in the middle.
Dense Structure
Compared with the deformation method of traditional fixed-die hot-drawn wires, the roller die drawing adopted by Star titanium realizes radial rolling deformation, resulting in finer grains and denser structure. There will be no core drawing or loose structure caused by hot drawing. During the printing process of Star titanium wires, the molten pool spattering phenomenon is less, which can improve the fine powder yield of the powder-making wire in the powder production process.
