Overview of ERTi-16 (Ti-0.05Pd) Titanium Alloy Welding Wire
ERTi-16 is a low-palladium content, corrosion-resistant welding wire equivalent to ASTM Grade 7 (UNS R52400). It provides significantly improved corrosion resistance in reducing acids over unalloyed titanium at a lower cost than Grade 7 with higher palladium. With its cost-effective performance enhancement, ERTi-16 is commonly selected for chemical processing, pulp and paper industry equipment, and piping systems.
